Reported house explosion in Texas under investigation, officials say

Four people were injured, including one firefighter, after a blast collapsed a home in Austin

Officials in Austin, Texas, are investigating an apparent house explosion, the Austin fire department reported on social media.

Around 11.25am CDT, residents in north-west Austin reported hearing and feeling an explosion in the area. “It rattled my windows and building,” one person posted on social media with an image of a plume of smoke rising into the air.
