Sanctioned Russian singer Kobzon, dubbed Russia's Sinatra, dies aged 80
Veteran Russian singer and pro-Kremlin politician Iosif Kobzon, who was under European Union sanctions for supporting pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine, died on Thursday. He was 80.
